How many gummies a day?

Do I have to chew them?

Will more gummies work faster?
No. The B vitamins are excreted when you exceed what you need, and vitamin A has an actual upper limit. Two is the serving.

Do I need to take a break from it?

What is in Gelagen?
Vitamin A, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12, biotin and pantothenic acid, in a pectin gummy base with sugars, citric acid and natural strawberry flavour and colour.
Which ingredient matters most?
Biotin is the one most associated with hair, skin and nails. Vitamin A is the one with the most research behind it in skin science, and also the one with a genuine upper limit.
Is there sugar in it?
Yes, a small amount, as in every gummy supplement. This site says so on the product page and the safety page rather than leaving you to find it.
Is it gluten free or dairy free?
Read the panel on the bottle you receive, which is the authority. A pectin gummy base does not inherently contain either.
Why pectin and not gelatin?
Pectin comes from fruit and gelatin comes from animals. Pectin makes the gummy suitable for far more people.
Does it contain collagen or hyaluronic acid?
Neither. It is a vitamin formula. If a collagen or hyaluronic acid supplement is what you want, buy one of those instead.

Is Gelagen safe?

Can I take it while pregnant?

Does it affect blood tests?

Can I take it with a multivitamin?
Check the combined vitamin A across everything you take. The concern is the total, not any single product.
Can I take it with a prescription retinoid?
Ask the doctor who prescribed it. Retinoids are vitamin A derivatives and the total intake is what matters.
Are there side effects?
Most people report none. Mild digestive upset, bright yellow urine from excess B vitamins, and the sweetness of the gummy are the things mentioned most.
Can under-18s take it?
